The Bon Vivants

Welcome to our first report from Hollywood by the Bon Vivant Harris Twins Mark & Matt Harris who you may know from their time on the A&E Hit series “Storage Wars” and are self proclaimed Bon Vivants

We start our first column today based around Emmy Week in Los Angeles, As Hollywood celebrated the 76th annual Emmy Awards the Harris Brothers made it a point to host their own annual Celebrity Lifestyle Gifting Suite on the Rooftop of the Fabulous Aster Hotel in Hollywood overlooking the Capital Records Building with the Hollywood Sign as a backdrop. Mingling with stars was the norm with the Harris Brothers, NBA Superstar John Salley was in attendance as well as Emmy Nominee Ayo Edebiri from “The Bear” and Sheryl Lee Ralph from “Abbott Elementary”, the weather as usual in Hollywood was perfect, the skies were blue and a very comfortable 82 degrees. As our reach extends far beyond the Glitter and tinsel of Hollywood we found ourselves recently on the California Riviera in Laguna Beach, summer in Laguna Beach is like no other as the town fills up with tourists and the locals coming out to enjoy the sights and sounds of the summer  we had a wonderful weekend stay at the historic La Casa Del Camino Hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Hotel general manager Phelton Calhoun didn’t disappoint and showed the Harris Brothers and wives a fabulous time, you really can’t beat it when you get to your room and open your window only to see the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. While in Laguna Beach one must always visit the World Renowned Las Brisas restaurant with its fabulous oceanfront views and Sunday Brunch with their famous bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.

The weekend in Laguna Beach ended with us catching the annual Pageant of the Masters Show. If you have never been to the show you must make plans to attend next year, It’s a 90 minute performance that brings famous works of art to life on the stage…what more can you say except  WOW…and a big congratulations to our friend Eric Roberts who finally made it on this seasons “Dancing with the Stars” after waiting twenty years to get on the show and with that our first report from the Bon Vivant Harris brothers ends with more exciting things coming to you next month.

Cheers.
