2019 Critics’ Choice Awards new services by - 0 Full winners list in the 25 film and 17 TV categoriesThe 2019 Critics’ Choice Movie and TV Awards were handed out on Sunday (January 13), during a three-hour ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California that aired on the CW Network. This marked the 24th year that the 350 plus members of the Broadcast Film Critics Assn. have awarded prizes while it is the ninth time that their counterparts in the Broadcast Television Journalists Assn. have done so. Close behind with 12 bids is “Black Panther” while “First Man” also cracked double digits with 10 nominations in total. There is a three-way tie among the nominees for fourth place ( “Mary Poppins Returns,” “A Star Is Born,” and “Vice”) while regional critics darling “Roma” reaped eight bids.Over on the TV side, awards powerhouse Netflix is in first with 20 nominations, with four of those for their new comedy “GLOW.” HBO is next in line with 15, thanks in part to “Big Little Lies” and its five bids.
